Car rental is recommended for most convenience, even though the nearest beach and are in walking distance. In short drive (10-15 minutes) you can also visit Temple of Poseidon in the Cape Sounion or check the surroundings with its unspoilt beaches. Don’t forget to go to the historic center of Athens, including the famous Acropolis and the Plaka, try authentic Greek cuisine in one of the numerous taverns or restaurants, or simply go shopping!
